About the trade show

Light + Building 2028 is an international trade fair covering lighting and building services technology, taking place in Frankfurt am Main from 5 to 10 March 2028. On show are luminaire systems, lighting design, human centric lighting, emergency and safety lighting, street and shop lighting as well as home and building automation. Further topics are security technology, AI applications in buildings and the convergence of IT and OT.

The fair is aimed at trade visitors from lighting, electrical engineering, building automation and connected security technology. In 2026 it counted 1,960 exhibitors and 145,655 visitors. The organiser is Messe Frankfurt Exhibition GmbH. Light + Building was founded in 2000 and takes place every two years.
