Bauen Wohnen Energie (bisher HAUSBAU+ENERGIE MESSE BERN) 2026 is a trade and consumer fair for energy-efficient building and renovation, taking place at BERNEXPO in Bern from 5 to 8 November 2026. On show are timber construction, prefabricated houses, building materials, insulation systems, facades, windows and roof systems as well as heating and building services. Energy topics include solar technology and solar thermal energy, heat pumps, geothermal energy and borehole heat exchangers, biomass and district heating. Financing options are also covered.
The fair is aimed at professionals from construction and energy as well as private builders and homeowners. An accompanying congress offers talks and panel discussions. In 2014 it counted 400 exhibitors and 20,000 visitors. The organiser is ZT Fachmessen AG. The fair was founded in 1997 and takes place every year.
