About the trade show
MUTEC 2026 is an international trade fair for museum and exhibition technology, taking place in Leipzig on 5 and 6 November 2026. Exhibitors present exhibition design and scenography, lighting, projection, sound and stage technology as well as audio guides and museum education services. Archiving systems, conservation supplies, scanning technology, security and fire protection and suppliers for museum shops complete the range. A specialist programme accompanies the exhibition.
The fair is aimed at professionals from museums, exhibition venues and other cultural institutions. In 2024 it counted 115 exhibitors and 2,320 visitors, compared with 120 exhibitors and 1,865 visitors in 2022. The organiser is Leipziger Messe GmbH. MUTEC takes place every two years.
