About the trade show
RecyclingAKTIV & TiefbauLIVE (RATL) 2027 is a demonstration fair for recycling technology and civil engineering, taking place in Karlsruhe from 3 to 5 June 2027. RecyclingAKTIV covers technology and machinery for the circular economy, TiefbauLIVE covers civil and road engineering. Topics include wood and biomass, scrap and metal, attachments and demolition. Machines are demonstrated in operation on the outdoor area, at the stands and on model construction sites.
The fair is aimed at professionals from the construction, recycling and civil engineering sector. A conference programme, a live workshop and offers for young talent complement the exhibition. In 2025 it counted 250 exhibitors and 8,525 visitors. The organiser is Karlsruher Messe- und Kongress GmbH. RATL was founded in 2007 and takes place every two years.
