About the trade show

HeatExpo 2026 is a trade fair for heating and cooling supply, taking place in Dortmund from 24 to 26 November 2026. On show are large heat pumps, combined heat and power, geothermal energy, power-to-X and the use of industrial waste heat. Further topics are local and district heating, heating and cooling networks, pipeline networks, neighbourhood solutions, the municipal heat transition and decarbonisation.

Exhibitors come from plant engineering, equipment manufacturing, project development, infrastructure and consulting; the fair is aimed at trade visitors from companies, municipalities and institutions. In 2025 it counted 200 exhibitors and 3,850 visitors. The organiser is Messe Dortmund GmbH. HeatExpo was founded in 2023 and takes place every year.
