Exhibitors present playground planning and equipment, impact protection, sports facility construction, exercise and sports facilities, floor coverings and artificial turf as well as solutions for arenas and stadiums. Further topics are open space planning, urban furniture, neighbourhood development and urban planning. The aquanale, the trade fair for sauna, pool and ambience, takes place at the same time.
The fair is aimed at trade visitors involved in planning, building and running sports and open spaces. In 2021 it counted 285 exhibitors and 16,000 visitors; in 2019 there were 840 exhibitors and 27,685 visitors. The organiser is Koelnmesse GmbH. FSB was founded in 1969 and takes place every two years.
