The fair is aimed at professionals and decision-makers from the ceramics industry, powder metallurgy and user industries. In 2024 it counted 455 exhibitors and 13,690 visitors. The organiser is Messe München GmbH. ceramitec was founded in 1979 and takes place every two years.
