Schweissen 2028 is a trade fair for joining, cutting and coating technology, taking place in Wels from 25 to 28 April 2028. The focus is on welding, soldering and bonding as well as laser, plasma and waterjet cutting. Heat treatment, surface technology, industrial robots, handling and assembly technology, computer-aided manufacturing, filler materials and measuring and testing technology complete the range.
The fair is aimed at trade visitors from Austria and neighbouring countries such as Germany, the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2026 it counted 300 exhibitors and 10,000 visitors. The organiser is Austrian Exhibition Experts GmbH. Schweissen was founded in 2015 and takes place every two years.
