SMART Automation Austria 2027 is a trade fair for industrial automation, taking place in Wels from 11 to 13 May 2027. The range extends from basic components to process control systems. On show are automation technology, electrical and mechanical drive technology, pneumatics, hydraulic components, controllers, sensors, bus systems and industrial communication. Operator control and monitoring, automated handling and low-voltage technology complete the range.

The fair is aimed at trade visitors from mechanical and plant engineering and other industries. In 2025 it counted 170 exhibitors and 6,000 visitors. The organiser is Messezentrum Salzburg GmbH. SMART Automation Austria takes place every two years.
