About the trade show

PCIM 2027 is an international trade fair for power electronics, taking place in Nuremberg from 11 to 13 May 2027. The name stands for Power Conversion and Intelligent Motion. On show are IGBTs, MOSFETs, wide band-gap semiconductors made of SiC, GaN and GaAs, power modules and IPMs, discrete power semiconductors, thyristors and GaN power ICs. Gate driver circuits, film capacitors, chokes, current transformers, transformers, soft magnetic materials as well as e-mobility and energy storage complete the range.

The fair is aimed at power electronics experts from industry and research. In 2026 it counted 650 exhibitors and 17,330 visitors. The organiser is Mesago Messe Frankfurt GmbH. PCIM was founded in 1979 and takes place every year.
