About the trade show

NexGeM – Next Generation Metalworking 2027 is a new trade fair for the digitalisation of metalworking, taking place in Hanover from 5 to 8 April 2027. It runs as a co-located event of HANNOVER MESSE. The focus is on software, AI applications, automation, connectivity and service as well as retrofit for machines that have been in operation for years.

The fair links classic machine tool expertise with data-driven manufacturing. It is aimed at machine tool manufacturers, technology providers, research institutions and industrial users who plan new equipment or want to modernise existing machines. NexGeM takes place for the first time in 2027 and is planned as a yearly event.
