About the trade show

METEC 2027 is an international trade fair for metallurgy, metallurgical plant technology and steel production, taking place in Düsseldorf from 21 to 25 June 2027. Exhibitors show plants, processes and components for the production of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and for smelting and rolling mills. Focus topics are decarbonisation and energy efficiency, smart factory and AI as well as circular economy and resource efficiency.

The fair is open only to trade visitors from the metals industry and its supply sectors. In 2023 it counted 2,185 exhibitors and 63,280 visitors. The organiser is Messe Düsseldorf GmbH. METEC was first held in 1979 and takes place every four years.
