About the trade show

IDS 2027 (Internationale Dental-Schau) is an international trade fair for the dental industry, taking place in Cologne from 16 to 20 March 2027. On show are implantology, CAD/CAM materials, 3D printing, treatment units, imaging systems, prophylaxis as well as materials for inlays, crowns, bridges and dentures. Further topics are dental aesthetics, suction and compressed air systems, sterilisation and disinfection, rotary instruments, practice furniture as well as digital transformation and artificial intelligence in dentistry and dental technology.

The fair is aimed at dentists, dental technicians, the dental industry and the dental trade. In 2025 it counted 2,010 exhibitors and 135,265 visitors. The organiser is GFDI Gesellschaft zur Förderung der Dental-Industrie mbH. IDS was founded in 1923 and takes place every two years.
