About the trade show

Munich Fabric Start 2027 is an international textile trade fair, taking place in Munich from 20 to 22 January 2027. Twice a year it opens the new season for fabrics, trims and accessories. On show are collections from basics to haute couture, plus offers from design studios, sourcing solutions as well as sustainable innovations and approaches to the circular economy.

In the BLUEZONE, exhibitors present new products for denim and sportswear, while trend and sample areas and the Colour Forum show the colours and trends of the coming season. The fair is aimed at trade visitors from design, product development and purchasing in the fashion and textile industry. In 2025 it counted 600 exhibitors and 11,700 visitors. The organiser is MUNICH FABRIC START Exhibitions GmbH. The fair was founded in 1996.
