About the trade show

Laser World of Photonics 2027 is an international trade fair for optical technologies, taking place in Munich from 22 to 25 June 2027. On show are laser sources, beam shaping, optical components, optoelectronics, fibre optics, diffractive optics, integrated photonics as well as cameras and camera systems. Applications range from laser manufacturing, drilling and structuring processes and additive manufacturing to laser processes for hydrogen, biophotonics, neurophotonics and optogenetics.

The fair is aimed at trade visitors from electronics, mechanical engineering, production and research. In 2025 it counted 1,395 exhibitors and 44,425 visitors. The organiser is Messe München GmbH. Laser World of Photonics was founded in 1973 and takes place every two years.
