About the trade show

analytica 2028 is an international trade fair covering laboratory technology, analysis and biotechnology, taking place in Munich from 25 to 28 April 2028. On show are products and solutions for laboratories in industry, research and science, including chromatography, spectroscopy, spectrometry, microscopy and sample preparation. Further topics are laboratory automation, Lab 4.0, bioanalysis, laboratory diagnostics as well as food, environmental and water analysis. The fair includes a scientific conference.

analytica is aimed at suppliers, users and researchers from the laboratory, analysis and life science sectors. In 2026 it counted 1,135 exhibitors and 35,000 visitors. The organiser is Messe München GmbH, which also runs editions of the fair in countries such as China, India, Vietnam and South Africa. analytica was founded in 1968 and takes place every two years.
